Dr Krishnan Rasaratnam

Interests: Musculoskeletal Medicine, Paediatrics, Men’s Health
Krishnan obtained his medical degree in 2018 from Monash University. He completed his residency at Eastern Health with significant exposure to orthopaedic and emergency medicine. He then went on to complete the Sydney Child Health Program in 2021, before completing his General Practice Fellowship. Krishnan enjoys all aspects of general practice but has special interests in Children’s Health and Sports Medicine.
Krishnan has experience working with athletes, and a keen interest in managing musculoskeletal injuries and concussion. Krishnan is currently undertaking further training in Sports and Exercise Medicine through a Masters of Sports Medicine.
Krishnan is the team doctor for the Sandringham Zebras VFL team and Northern Knights Football Club. He has also been a medical officer with Western United Football Club, Victoria Thunderbolts NRL Team and with the AFLW.
Outside of work, Krishnan enjoys drawing, travelling, soccer and badminton.
