Jay completed his double master’s in Acupuncture and CHM at RMIT University as the top student and holds Doctor of Physiotherapy and a Bachelor of Biomedicine degrees from the University of Melbourne. As a third-generation Chinese medicine practitioner, Jay’s expertise is rooted in family tradition and mentorship from esteemed physicians Dr. Wang Lao, a scion of royal lineage with a lineage tracing back to the esteemed physicians of the Qing Dynasty.
Jay has a rich background as a senior physiotherapist in a public hospital in northern Melbourne, private practice, and aged care. His wide-ranging experience positions him to provide exceptional care across various medical conditions. As he continues his journey, Jay is committed to blending ancient healing arts of with modern healthcare, making Chinese medicine accessible and suited to the needs of our community.
Outside of work, Jay enjoys swimming and practicing meditation.
