Mahmoud obtained his medical degree from Monash University in 2018. He worked all over regional Victoria from Mildura to Traralgon, before competing his Specialist GP training and moving to Melbourne.
Mahmoud enjoys all facets of Family Medicine, but especially passionate about preventative healthcare, weight loss and skin cancer medicine. He is pursuing further qualifications from the Skin Cancer College of Australia to maintain his advocacy for a SunSmart Australia.
Mahmoud understands the central importance for patients in them accessing a good GP. He has a collaborative style between his patients and their treating team. This enables a very holistic, evidence-based approach to treatment and optimal patient outcomes. Mahmoud is an enthusiastic educator. He currently holds a post with the RACGP as a Medical Educator, and abreast of the latest Medical evidence.
Outside of medicine, Mahmoud enjoys spending time with his family, fiddling with new technology, and as a bogey golfer he is refining his game.
